Persona 6 story spoilers reportedly leak via Steam achievements

Atlus may have had major Persona 6 story details leaked through Steam achievements, according to Kotaku. Exophase, a database that tracks achievements and trophies across PlayStation, PC, and Xbox, posted what appears to be complete achievement lists for both Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival, the remake that is still about six months from release.

The Persona 6 list is the bigger surprise. Atlus has shown only a teaser trailer for the RPG, and the public has not seen a frame of in-game footage. The achievement descriptions reportedly outline the game's story beats, which is why Kotaku warned readers before linking to them.

The leak raises questions about the game's release timing. Kotaku suggested a fall 2027 launch could be plausible if the game is far enough along to have an achievements list, but noted the timeline is unclear. Atlus has been tight-lipped on Persona 6, possibly to keep attention on the Persona 4 Revival remake. Kotaku has reached out to Atlus for comment and said it will update the story if the company responds.
