Capcom released a gameplay trailer for Arjun, the next DLC fighter coming to Street Fighter 6 on October 13 as part of the game's fourth seasonal character pass. Arjun is a new character to the series: an Indian fighter and framed policeman on the run who fights as a bulky brawler with control over wind and earth, the trailer showing off his normal and special moves before combos and supers.

His level three super art includes poses drawn from Bollywood choreography, and his character bio lists Bollywood and fossil hunting among his likes, with undercooked biryani among his dislikes.

Arjun follows Yasmine, another wholly new character introduced to the Street Fighter series in the current pass. The pass's remaining two slots are crossovers and returns: Tifa from Final Fantasy 7 is set to join the roster in early 2027, and Bosch, the story mode character who died in SF6's campaign, will cap off the pass next spring.

The reveal continues a strong run for the franchise. Capcom reported record sales for the series in a financial report earlier this year.

Why it matters

Arjun is the second original character in Street Fighter 6's fourth season pass, which pairs new faces with high-profile crossovers like Final Fantasy 7's Tifa.
